LOCAL STUDENTS ARTWORK DISPLAYED IN MP HELP ZONE

Aidan recently welcomed teachers, parents and grandparents to give out prizes to local students from Staffordshire University Academy who had produced a selection of 3D pictures and canvass work for display in the MP's Help Zone.

The winning artwork, chosen by Aidan, was created by Catherine Talbot with second and third place going to Chloe Blair and Rebecca Bubalo respectively. Each student whose artwork is displayed received a special commended certificate from the MP.

Speaking after the award ceremony Aidan said: "I would like to thank all the students from Staffordshire University Academy who submitted artwork for my MP Help Zone. The quality of the artwork was fantastic and I'm sure will be enjoyed by all local people who visit the shop."

"Particular congratulations must go to Catherine however, whose piece stood head and shoulders above the rest. She has a big future as a local artist."

All the pieces are now available for the public to view in the MP Help Zone.
